- [Illustrator] Down the left hand side, you can see all the tools we use in Photoshop for iPad. The top one is the Move Tool, and this simply allows you to move layers around. Let's open our Compact Layer View and switch to the image layer. And now let's look at the Transform Tools. The first one allows you to scale an image, drag a corner handle, and it scales proportionately towards the opposite corner. You'll notice that several of the tools include this touch shortcut circle in the bottom left corner. If you hold that with your other hand, then it modifies the behavior of the current tool. In this case, it lets you scale the layer disproportionately, and you can see the words unconstrained scale appear in the top right as a warning. You can also perform an unconstrained scale by grabbing one of the center handles to scale a layer, either horizontally or vertically. Let's move it into the middle of the screen.…
