- In this video I just wanted to show you a few of my favorite tips when I need to draw basic selections. And as basic as this is, So I'm going to basically repeat the process that I performed in the previous video and what I'm going to do is grab the rectangular marquee one more time. that I want to show you is that I'm going to click and drag with the mouse keeping the mouse held down. And so what I can do is, I'm going to hold down the space on my keyboard Okay, now when I let go of the space bar I can continue dragging with the mouse. I can also hold down the alt-key Now this is a little bit of Photoshop twister, and I understand that or your going to hate it. proportionately or really a square proportionately and it's drawing it from the middle I can also add the space bar so that I can reposition it as I'm dragging. And now when I let go of the space bar, I'm still drawing it proportionately from the middle. And now I can let go, and I have the rectangle that…
