[Instructor] On occasion, you may be asked to provide a color separated file. This is very common in the world of screen printing, which of course has enjoyed quite a resurgence of late. If you are asked to do one, what you need to do is to do a Save As operation on your file, and save to a DCS. Let me start that process and then we can talk about that as we go along. So if we go to the file menu and come down to Save As, which you would have to do this anyway. Even if you try to save it would tell you it needs to be saved as a copy. And from the format menu, choose DCS one or two. Now, you can get away with one if you're just doing straightforward four color separations, but if you've got any spot colors in there, you need to go to DCS two, and you should be safe with DCS two anyway. This will create you an EPS. And DCS, just in case you don't know, stands for Desktop Color Separation. That's what it is, and it will create you an encapsulated postscript file.
