Set overall tonal balance
- To get started in Adobe Camera Raw, we'll begin with some quick adjustments for modifying the overall tonal balance in the scene. Very often, this may be all that an image needs to make it look significantly better, and this is especially true with night photos. So here in Adobe Bridge, I already have the first file selected we're going to be using, "sculptures.dng" and I'm going to hold down the command key on Mac or control key on Windows and click on the thumbnail for the "spooky.dng" image and then come up to the File menu and choose "open" in Camera Raw. Now let me clarify that even though I am using Adobe Camera Raw to apply the initial adjustments to the raw files in this course, if you're using Lightroom Classic, you can make the same adjustments with that program.
