Shape dynamics
- [Instructor] If we have set up our brush tip shape and all the settings that come with it, we now have a whole bunch of other settings that we can use to change the behavior of our brush tool. And the first set of settings that we want to adjust is the shape dynamics. I just click on it here on the menu and now on the right side of our brush settings window we can adjust all the settings associated with the shape dynamics. Now in general you can add an automated variation to settings in Photoshop. And this automated variation is called a jitter. The first value that we can adjust here in the shape dynamics is the so-called size jitter. And if I increase it, you will see in the brush stroke preview here in the lower portion of the brush settings window that my brush tips get scaled in a random fashion. Let's have a look at the effect here on our digital canvas. Now the size of our brush tips that are copied along our brush path are randomly changed. We can exaggerate that and now we…
