Sharpening in Photoshop

and welcome to Photo Tools Weekly. In this week's episode, we are in Photoshop and we're talking about sharpening. You can see I have four documents we'll be going through. I'll start off with this one here, which is a bit of an introduction. And here, I just want to talk about this idea of sharpening workflow, and we do what's called input sharpening. Now, we covered that topic in last week's episode, But then we come over to Photoshop and we do what's called output sharpening. Well, what does output sharpening look like? Well, here, I have another demo file and with this file, you can see it's a gradient and it goes from black to white. If I want to sharpen this, I could go to my Filter pull-down menu and choose Sharpen and then Smart Sharpen. Smart Sharpen is perhaps the most commonly used sharpening tool.
