Simple application of the Vanishing Point filter

- [Narrator] So, we have placed our linked smart object and we now want to take this picture and place it over here on the wall in perspective. Before I go any further, I'm just going to scale this down somewhat. Command or ctrl T and then shift and drag from one of its corners. Press return to commit to that. I now want to copy this as a selection, command click on the layer thumbnail brings up the active selection and then copy that. I'll now turn off that layer, and create a new layer above my background layer. I'll also press command D to drop my active selection. Now the reason I've created this new layer is because I want to work with the vanishing point filter in a non-destructive way. So I'll come to the filter menu and to vanishing point, where the first thing I need to do is create a perspective plane. And I can do that with the create plane tool.
