Soften simple wrinkles in Lightroom

- [Instructor] I try to get my photos as perfect as possible on camera, but I often use Lightroom and Photoshop to retouch wrinkles. I don't erase them, but I do relax them and make them less noticeable. One of my favorite tools to do this is the healing brush in Lightroom. To use the brush, make sure it's on healing mode. This blends the target and the source areas. Zoom in. Make the brush a little larger than the wrinkle. The amount you do in one sweep is dependent on how much clean skin you have to source from. We've got plenty for these wrinkles. I usually don't like the source area Lightroom selects. I pull the pin to a better place and adjust the opacity. You want to keep the detail but minimize the wrinkle. To make sure you're not overdoing it, turn the adjustment on and off.
