(upbeat music) - [Instructor] Rather than show you something that you've already seen, in this chapter, I'm taking advantage of the challenge movie to go above and beyond and share with you some bonus content. And that's definitely true in what we'll be looking at here. Here we'll build upon some of the things we already know, but go even further. We'll begin by looking at how we can make a selection by using some advanced masking. Then we'll apply three filters to build up the effect which will allow us to soften or smooth the skin in this area of the photograph. Alright, well let's begin by turning off the visibility of all those other layers, because what I want to do is just soften or smooth the skin here. And the reason why I want to do that is if we zoom in on that area of the image, what we'll see is that she has some goosebumps. I also just want to take away focus on this area of the image.
