Stacking layers and using stack modes

- For this next technique, we're going to use blending modes but on several images and one way to do this is by stacking them into a new layer. The stack command is often used for scientific approaches of combining multiple images and then comparing the layers but you can use it for creative options as well, such as the ability to do a star trail or to merge multiple exposures together for a great long exposure look. In this case, you see that I have a bunch of different exposures taken as the lighting conditions changed. This is from a bit of a time lapse sequence, and you can see that the clouds are moving through and the scene is getting a bit darker as the sun sets. What I'm going to do is merge these into one exposure. In Photoshop you'll choose file, scripts, load files into stack. Now browse to find the images.
