Sweetening the final composition
- [Instructor] All right, so as I was saying, it's a little bit hard to make out these energy bubbles because we blurred them so very much in the previous movie. Which is why I'm going to enhance the effect with the addition of a couple of layer effects. And I should admit that this has nothing to do with masking. It's just a whole lot of fun. All right, so, go ahead and switch back to the image in progress. And the first thing I'm gonna do is grab this Outer Glow effect right there and duplicate it onto the kerplow layer. So, currently, it's assigned to the ray blast group. I'm gonna press the Alt key, or the Option key on the Mac, so you wanna do that in advance, and then drag that Outer Glow. And notice I'm seeing a double-arrowhead cursor which tells me that I'm about to duplicate the effect as soon as I drop it into place. And that does make it quite a bit easier to see. Now, I'm gonna double-click on that Outer Glow effect in order to bring up the Layer Style dialog box. Go…
