Textures for floral imagery

- [Instructor] Textures really come into their own when you work with floral imagery. Maybe this is because we tend to think of flower art as expressionistic and imaginative. Maybe it's because flowers are simply so sensuous and beautiful. Sometimes floral images need a creative boost that goes beyond what you would normally do. So I'll show you how to create your own texture from other textures and your image library and that's a way of adding to your image library with textures that you already have. So, this will also let you create an exciting new piece of art. So we have here an Aqua Vita texture that is blue and that's gonna become our sky and a Casanova, which is ochre and the two of them are gonna be placed on this floral image that I made on Lightbox. The idea behind the composition of the image was to create flowers that looked like they were bending in the wind. So to do that, you need a sky behind it. So let me place Aqua Vita over Casanova.
