Three ways to copy and paste layers

- [Narrator] In this movie, we'll take a look at three different ways to copy and paste layers from one image into another. The first of which is to literally copy and paste. And so notice that I've added some text to this document, along with this shape layer, which happens to be a black rectangle set to an opacity value of fifty percent. And I want to take those two layers and I want to move them into my composition so far. Well they happen to be exactly the same size which helps ensure that we'll get the proper placement. So I'll go ahead and switch over to my image that contains the text and then I'll click on the bar layer to select it and I'll shift click on the Make a Shark's Day layer in order to add it to the selection. So I now have two layers selected here inside the layers panel. And now I'll go up to the edit menu and I'll choose the copy command or I could just press control C, or command C on the MAC,…
