- [Instructor] Before we begin to animate, we have to make a thumbnail. I find if you don't thumbnail, you get into trouble very quickly. I'm just going to make a very quick thumbnail sketch, make a new layer, call it Thumbnail. Pick a brush and let's get a nice drawing. Hold down Shift if need a ground plane to draw. If you hold down Shift then you can draw perfectly straight lines. It's pretty cool. And I'm going to very roughly do like a magic carpet standing here. That'll be number one. And we're going to have an end pose maybe here, and that'll be number 17, and we'll have another key frame here. I'm going to cheat this. I'm not going to do anything too fancy. I'm going to slide the foot across. So the foot's not really even lifting off the ground much and we'll make this one number nine. So it's just under a second.
