- [Instructor] In the previous movie, … I showed you how to do a gesture drawing, … and these should be done very quickly, a few seconds, … 20 seconds, 30 seconds, no more than a minute. … And the idea is to capture the essence … of the pose and the acting. … And then I showed you how to do the rough on top of that, … and it's a much cleaner version of the same pose, … so we begin to polish it and tighten it up. … But obviously, this is still showing construction lines. … We want to go one step further and do a tiedown now. … So let's go down here, make a new layer, … hit the little new layer icon, and we'll call this tiedown. … And because we want to have these separated visually, … let's make this one green, so right-click on that … and go Blending Options, Color Overlay, … and pick a nice green color. … You can slide this here, pick green, OK, OK. … And you can always switch this on and off, of course, … if you want to see the original in actually black, … but this is nice, 'cause now we have control! …
