Toning and developing the panoramic image

Toning and developing the panoramic image

- We're now working with a super raw file. A brand-new DNG, or digital negative file, which is a raw format created by Adobe. All the things you can do to a raw photo can be done to this DNG file and really it's just a combined image made from additional raw files. I strongly recommend shooting raw for these panoramic images. If you've shot JPEG, it will still work, but you won't have the same flexibility. All right, looking at this image, there's a lot of things that we can do to improve it. Now, first up, I'm actually going to go under the Effects tab, because in this particular case, there was a lot of haze. I took this photo in Hong Kong and the air quality wasn't particularly good that day. I'll apply a little bit of Dehaze to remove that and you see it actually erodes it pretty much right out of the sky, but if we go too far, the blue pixels indicate crushing. I need to be careful about how far I push that and I might brush a little bit in selectively over here. That helped…
