Touring and planning shots in a small interior space

So here we are in this space. It's really beautiful. It's intimate. It's small. Being really small means that we're not going to be able to have one overarching shot. We're going to have to construct the feeling of this space through a series of detail shots. We'll have some that feel more overall but basically we're really after the details and it's simple, it's in a Japanese style. The original construction is actually traditional construction, it's not modern with cosmetic approaches. The structural beams are structural. I'm really excited about that. I never get to see things like that these days. We have a garden outside that is stunningly beautiful with a lot of window space. We're bringing the garden into the space. It's as important really as the interior is. But the details and the way the place is put together both in its construction and its interior design are what really excite me about this place. It's so lucky to have an area, a space like this, where no matter where I look there's a beautiful shot. And I've done a walk through. And walkthroughs are really important. You've got to get your feet on the ground. You got to understand. What I do in a walk through is I'm always looking for the most important aspects of the space. What do I, what am I going to highlight? What are we going to point out? What really comes together to make the space what it is? And I've done that. And I've chosen some things that we're going to work with today. one of the things that really caught my eye, both is just this basket down here on the floor along with the structural column. with some art work, and then a view into the bathroom, it's a great way to see a bathroom, without actually having to be in the bathroom. in addition to that, we have this beautiful cabinet back here. It's clearly handmade it's really well done, there's lots of detail in it. It speaks highly of what this space is. and then my favorite thing actually is the round window with the bamboo in it as well as the sculptural element on the cabinet in the back and that's where we're going to start.
