Turning day into night with Camera Raw

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take this guy and reimagine his colors to transform this obvious studio shot to a night time scene. And we're going to be doing so using the camera raw filter. So I'm going to start things off by taking this model layer and jumping it to a new layer by pressing control + alt + J, or command + option + J on a Mac, and then I'll name this layer night and press the enter key or the return key on a Mac. Next I'll go ahead and turn the original model layer off to protect it and I'll make sure that the image thumbnail, not the layer mask, is selected here inside the layers panel. Next you want to go up to the filter menu and choose camera raw filter, or you have that keyboard shortcut of control + shift + A, or command + shift + A on the Mac. Now the first thing I want to do is make this guy way bluer and I'm going to do that by reducing the temperature value all the way to negative 60. Now that ends up making him look a little bit too purple, so…
