Understanding keyframes

What we need to do now is add keyframes for the camera lens. And there are really two types of properties to control. Ultimately the camera lens can be pointed at something, and we can move both properties the same way. There's the position of the lens, which is it's physical location, and it's point of interest, which is what it's looking at. For example, if we were doing a dolly shot, the lens in point of interest might slide on by and both stay the same. However if it was curved dolly or a tracking shot, maybe the point of interest stays the same but just the position moves and the lens arcs. Or the lens stays the same, but the point of interest changes as the lens tilts up and down. What you see here is there's two properties to lends movement. What the lens is pointed at and where the lens is located. By keyframing these it's like you're moving the camera and then you're adjusting the pan and the tilt. Let's explore.…
