- [Instructor] Motion, weather it's motion in the video that you want to mask in some way, or camera motion, is the big limitation when it comes to making video composites in Photoshop. But, there are a few tricks that you can apply in some situations. In this project, we'll explore using an advanced blending technique to create a masking effect for moving water. So in this file, we have a virtual location, similar to the clock by the river that we worked on in an earlier project. And in fact it is the same river, just photographed from a slightly different angle. So let's just take a look at what's going on here. We have these very turbulent white water rapids, the waves leaping up in front of the edge of the castle. But, if you look at that, there are places where it doesn't really look convincing. And in fact, if I zoom up to a 100% by using the shortcut of command option zero, or control alt zero on Windows, you can see that there are aspects of this water that look almost to…
