Use a clipping mask to place a photo inside a vector shape

- [Instructor] Next, we'll add a vector shape to our design, which will hold the primary image and it will give it a more aesthetically pleasing look. First, the save of the home layer, then click on the pattern fill layer. Next, select the ellipse tool, which is nested under the rectangle tool. Then, from the Options bar select Shape. Shapes can have a fill and a stroke. For this example, the fill color doesn't matter, but make sure that you disable the stroke by clicking on the stroke color swatch and then clicking on the none button. You can create your ellipse by clicking and dragging over the canvas. Hold the shift to make a perfect circle. You can reposition the ellipse as you create it by dragging while you hold down the space bar without releasing the mouse button or the shift key. When you release the mouse button, you'll complete the ellipse. If you need to reposition the ellipse further, press the V key on…
