Using the Export As command

- [Instructor] All right, now let's say you want to prepare a fully opaque, photographic image for either the web or a mobile device. In that case, the best approach is to choose the Export As command and save the image as a JPEG file. That is J-P-E-G. And so the first thing I'm going to do is to once again, go over to the Layers panel and turn off the Dreamstime URL. And that's because every one of these export commands exports the contents of the visible layers and nothing more. So if I turn off that layer, it will not be reflected in the final JPEG file. Now I'll scroll to the bottom and I'll turn off the night and background layers, just to demonstrate once again that we do have an awful lot of transparency inside this image. If I turn the night layer back on, then I make the pixels up here in the top right and the top left regions opaque. But I leave this bottom area transparent, and I reveal a kind of halo translucency…
