Using the Focus Area brush
- [Narrator] In this area we're going to subtract this region of green background from the selection using the focus area brushes, which include these two guys right here which are called the focus area add tool and the focus area subtract tool. You really just need the add tool because it gives you both functionalities. So, I'll go ahead and make sure that tool is selected. I'll move my cursor out here into the image window. Notice that I'm seeing a very tiny brush. If I want to make it bigger I'd press the right bracket key a few times. And the size of the brush is recorded up here in the options bar. And so I'll make it a little bigger, let's say, and notice that I'm seeing a plus sign inside of my cursor which means if I were to drag, which I'm not going to do, but if I were, then, I would just be adding the background to the selection, which is clearly not what I want. So instead I'm going to press the alt or option key, which is going to give me a minus sign in the cursor. Just…
