Using the Generator

[Instructor] The generator in Photoshop is actually a very dynamic way of creating assets as you work. I have copied this file, generator.psd, from the exercise files into a new folder on my desktop. And the reason I've done that is because as this starts to create assets, it will create them at the same level as the parent document, okay? So, they're going to appear in this window and we'll keep that window nice and empty there for the minute. So, it's already open in Photoshop, but I'll double-click on it anyway to hand back over to Photoshop. And I'm gonna turn on File menu and choose Generate, Image Assets. Now, nothing will have happened at the moment. If I come back to the finder, you'll see it is completely empty. Nothing happened at all, alright? Other than the file that's there, anyway. But Photoshop is listening for me to do stuff and the stuff that I'm going to do is to rename some of these layers. So, these icons here are white at the moment and that's just fine, I'm just…
