Using the Graduated Filter tool

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to work with the graduated filter tool, which allows you to once again, selectively modify an image inside Camera Raw, but you'll be doing so using a kind of gradient mask combined with an adjustment brush. And the purpose of our exercise is going to be to take this castle and give it a kind of false color effect. All right, so I'll go and select this image right here, and press Control-R, or Command-R on a Mac, in order to open it inside of Camera Raw. And by the way, you may have to wait a minute for the image to update on screen. The reason is that the selective effects are pretty processor intensive, so they take a few moments to render. So the first thing I'm going to do is show you that I have, in advance, supplied some adjustment brush, just in the name of expediency here. So to see that, you need to select the adjustment brush.
