- [Instructor] Alright now let's take a look at the smoothing value up here in the options bar which automatically smooths out your brush strokes. So you may not have even noticed this but your brush stroke should be smoother today than they were a few years ago. Thanks to the introduction of this option. Now, I want you to notice that I've gone ahead and reset the roundness value to a 100%. My size is 40 pixels, the hardness is a 100%. And so I'll just go ahead and dismiss that panel and I will take the smoothing value down to its minimum of 0%. Thank you very much, which is the way that it used to be in the old days. Now I don't want to harm my original eclipse image, so I'll press control shift in or command shift and on the Mac to bring up the new layer dialogue box.
