Using the Spot Removal tool

- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll take a look at the spot removal tool, which is Camera Raw's version of the spot healing brush, except that it does not use content-aware technology, but it does allow you to adjust the results as much as you'd like by moving the source and the destination. So, I'm going to go ahead and select this image right there, High Clarity Portrait.dng, and of course, I'm working inside Bridge, and then, I'll scroll down and Control + Click on Unsightly Post. That would be a Command + Click on the Mac and I'll go ahead and open both files in Camera Raw by right-clicking in either one of them and choosing Open in Camera Raw. Now, the real intended purpose of this function is to remove debris from a photograph. So essentially, dust on the lens, but you can use it as a retouching tool, as well, and so, what you want to do is zoom in on your image, so you can see it up close and personal, and then select this tool right here, which is the spot removal tool…
