- [Voiceover] All right, so once again, I have in store for you what I hope is a really fun project. Over the course of this chapter, we're going to take this image of the valley of the moon in Chile, and incidentally this image, like many of the images in this chapter, come to us from the fotolia image library, about which you can learn more and get deals at fotolia.com/deke, and we're going to transform it into this exciting sci-fi scene complete with this big planet and these clouds and these stars and this little guy down here in the foreground. Now in this chapter, we're going to select this NASA image of the planet Mars using the elliptical marquee tool, so let me show you how that works. Now the first time you run Photoshop, the rectangular marquee tool is going to be selected by default, and as I've mentioned before, it's a good base tool to come back to because when you right click with this tool, you gain access to some of the most important commands in Photoshop, and the…
