Using layer comps with styles
- [Instructor] When collaborating with others, I'm often asked to present multiple different versions of a document for approval. But instead of making a number of duplicates of the image and saving them on the hard drive, I find it easier to keep track of different variations within a single document using layer comps. So I want to make a few changes to this document. I'll use the disclosure triangle, so we can see all the layers within the layer groups. And the first thing I'll do is I will add a solid color fill layer, and I'm just going to add kind of a medium, maybe 50% gray background and click OK. Then I'm also going to want to change a number of different layer styles. So I'll select the layer group for the bottom images, click on the effects icon and add a drop shadow. I'll reset it to the default, but then I think I need to just make it a little bit more obvious by dragging it to the lower right. I also want to…
