Using nested smart objects

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how we can rotate the text so that the letters are back to being upright, without changing the direction of the icicles, using a nested smart object. In other words, we're going to put one smart object inside of another. So the first thing I'm going to do here is right-click on this filter mask and choose delete filter mask to get rid of it, just so that we're saving a little bit of space. And once again, we need to use the frosty layer in order to maintain the canvas size, so I'm going to click on that layer and press control J, or command J on the Mac, in order to jump a copy of it, and then I'll go ahead and shift click on this ice type layer, and I'll right-click inside the image window, with the rectangular marquee tool, and choose convert to smart object so that we now officially have one smart object inside of another. Now I don't really want it to be called ice type one, so I'm going to get rid of that one there, and then I'm going…
