- [Instructor] All right now, I'll show you the original retouching tool. the one that predates the spot healing brush which is known simply as the healing brush. And the advantage of it, is that rather than just asking Photoshop to automatically determine the source data you get a select the source data on your own. And so notice here, I'm still working on an independently layer by the way, in my Sample All Layers check boxes turned on. Notice if I go ahead and paint over this region right here, I'll zoom in. Can you see it's pretty subtle but we have a little bit of a color mismatch and we're repeating some hairs right there. Can you see that? At the wrong direction. And by the way, if I were to undo that brush stroke and apply it again, I would get a totally different result. Can you see that? Especially those hairs right there. And that's because the shape of my brush stroke was slightly different.…
