- [Instructor] All right, this is a pretty garbage-y mask, which is why I'm going to clean it up with the help of a couple of lasso tool variations. So as you may recall, all the lasso tool does is draw a selection outline in the shape of your scribbling, so there's nothing remarkable about it. And so I'll just go ahead and click in order to deselect the image. But if you click and hold on a lasso tool, you'll see that there are two additional variations. We'll start with a magnetic lasso tool, which is another automated tool inside Photoshop, and you use it just by clicking in order to begin a selection, and then you move your cursor around the thing that you want to select. And I want to make this clear. I am not dragging. I'm just moving the cursor around. And as I do, Photoshop goes ahead and automatically selects points.
