We're going to take this next technique and explore a cool option of mixing in a still with the time lapse image. Sometimes when shooting time lapse, the lighting conditions change pretty dramatically. In this case, I shot time lapse in the desert, but once we got to the cool night sky, the rocks were virtually invisible. So I'm going to combine a still shot earlier from the position before it got dark and then the time lapse from later in the evening. Let's open up this project here. And you'll see the ridge. If we take a look at this layer, it's pretty simple. I'll view it over transparency and it's the rocks. Now, originally here, this was pretty easy. These rocks were actually not quite so dark, but using Photoshop, I was able to adjust the color and tweak it. Now, if we take a look at the actual night sky, what you're going to notice in that environment here is, the rocks are nonexistent. So if we drop that night…
