Viewing and manipulating layers

- [Tutor] This is the interface for Photoshop for iPad. Down the left, you'll see a range of tools that will be familiar to you from the desktop version of Photoshop. On the right is the taskbar, which holds tools for viewing and manipulating layers. At the top, is the compact layer view, and this shows you thumbnails of the current document. Here with the two layers, the text layer, and below that, we've got the background image behind it, and you can select each one by tapping on it. Tap the icon again to put this view away. Beneath that, is the detail layer view. Tap on that and you can see the names of each layer. You can tap the little eye icon next to each layer to turn it on and off, and later we'll see that as add layer masks and other effects, they'll show up here as well.
