Welcome to the Home screen - Photoshop Tutorial
From the course: Introducing Photoshop
Welcome to the Home screen
- When you first launch Photoshop, you'll see the home screen, indicated by the word home, up here at the top of this left hand list. In which case you're going to see thumbnails for your most recently opened images. To open any one of these images once again, all you have to do is click on its thumbnail, and that will take you into what is commonly known as Photoshop proper. And you'll know that you're inside Photoshop, because you'll see this toolbox on the left hand side. You'll see the menu bar in the options bar, up here at the top, and you'll see these big panels over here on the right hand side. To return to the home screen, all you have to do is close the image by clicking on this little X over here on the right hand side of the title tab here on the PC. It appears on the left hand side on the Mac. In any event, as soon as you close any and all images, you will return to the home screen. You can also switch back…
