From the course: Create a Portrait Collage in Photoshop
Welcome
- [Voiceover] Hi, I'm Sean Duggan. And in this course, I'll show you how you can use Photoshop compositing techniques to create portrait collages from multiple images. We'll start by looking at some of the things to keep in mind when photographing and choosing the images for a portrait collage. As well as what qualities lend themselves to the genre. Once we get to work in Photoshop, we'll take advantage of many of its masking and compositing features to create visually interesting collages that show more than one side of a portrait's subject. Our explorations will include working with layers, selections, layer masks, the transform controls, smart objects, and adjustment layers for color and tonal styling. We'll create different types of portrait collages, including images that capture the imagination of children at play. A portrait collage of a fashionable young woman. An image that shows the skill and strength of a rock-climber scaling a cliff wall. And even a surreal portrait incorporating multiple landscape images. I have lots of great creative techniques to share with you, so let's get started.
