From the course: Advanced Photography: Diptychs, Triptychs, and Aspect Ratios

Welcome

- Are you a photographer, looking to break free from the crowd and produce more original pieces in order to sell to more clients? Hi, I'm Justin Reznick and in the following course, we're going to break free from the aspect ratio. The idea that our cameras, with a sensor size of 2:3, 3:4 or 4:5 dictates how we present our work. It starts to all look the same. But what if we present the work in squares, panoramas, diptychs and triptychs. When a client walks in and sees a triptych, three panels, it's so surprising, it's just the originality and the effect of that is really compelling. We're going to learn how to break that down in Photoshop, present our work in triptychs, diptychs and be able to print from there. We're also going to learn in Photoshop how to make it for the web, so that we can put it on our site and offer those services. In addition, we're going to dive into an app called Shoot and Sell. What we can do is we can take a diptych or a triptych, we can impose it on an interior, a living room or a bedroom, on that wall produce an image and again, share that with clients so they can visualize what it's going to look like. The originality of breaking free of this aspect ratio is really going to increase sales. Alright, let's go.
