What print options are not available in Lightroom

- At the start of this chapter, I raised the question of when should you print in Lightroom and when should you print in Photoshop? I would hope that that's a little more clear to you now that we've been through Lightroom's printing controls. You've seen that they are quite robust. Still, there are some printing chores that you cannot do in Lightroom, or at least that you cannot do easily, and I want to just run through a few of them right now and to help you better answer when you're going to print in one place and when you're going to print in another. First of all, in Lightroom, you cannot do anything related to CMYK. There is no CMYK conversion. Now there's not a desktop printer that I know of that expects CMYK files, but if you are needing to prepare files to be sent to an off-site press of some kind, at some point, you might need to make a mode change to CMYK.
