Whitening teeth with the Sponge tool

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to whiten a person's teeth, and while you might think that's a function of brightening the smile with the Dodge tool, it's actually more about de-saturating the teeth using the Sponge tool, which is the third tool here inside the Toning Tools fly-out menu. So I'll go ahead and select the Sponge tool, and now notice up here in the Options bar that, by default, the mode is set to Desaturate. You can use the tool to increase the saturation of the colors, but it's set to Desaturate by default because it really is designed for teeth. And now what I'm going to do is zoom in by ctrl + spacebar clicking, that's a cmd + spacebar click on the Mac, and I'll go ahead and increase the size of my brush so it's way too big, so it's leaking into the lips, and then I'll just paint away like so. And you can see that I'm creating some grayer teeth, and I'm going to zoom in just a little bit more and reduce the size of my cursor and paint along the top and…
