Why do my colors look weird on the Web?

- If you've ever saved off a JPEG from Photoshop and then e-mailed it to someone or posted it on the web, you might've been surprised by some color changes. That's because there are embedded color profiles that don't necessarily work in web browsers. For example, in this image we are working with the ProPhoto color space. Let's go ahead here to the edit menu and take a look at the assigned profile. Right now, the document has ProPhoto RGB assigned. But if we don't color manage the document, you see a huge shift. Well, what happens? Let's say you just used the traditional save as command and you export this out as a regular JPEG. I'm going to embed the color profile in this one and click okay. And then I'm going to save it again as a JPEG and not embed the color profile. Let's open those into a web browser. Notice that the one without the color profile looks very different.
