Wide-angle jump settings

- [Man Deep Voice] In this movie, we're going to discuss jump settings that are specific to wide angle photography. Starting with rectilinear wide angle. - [Man] So when shooting wide with a rectilinear lens we're going to want to set our aperture at f6.3. We're going to want to set our shutter speed to 1/80, and set our ISO down nice and low at a hundred. Now, just to mention again, these are jump settings. This is not a silver bullet. This is not always going to take the greatest photo, but it's going to get us in the ball park. - [Man Deep Voice] And what's amazing to me is if this is the first time you're diving with a new rig, then you might want to just try these settings for the entire dive. Just live with these settings and see how they go. And so typically, the rule of thumb is to try out these settings until you feel like you're a little bit bored and you want to experiment. And then you can vary, for example, the aperture and the shutter speed in 1/2 to 1/3 stops. All…
