- [Instructor] Now we'll take a look at the next three options in the basic panel, which are texture, clarity, and dehaze. I'm going to select a couple of images starting with the result of the previous movie and then I'll control or command click on this elephant. Then I'll right click on either one of the thumbnails and choose open in camera raw, or of course you can press Control + R or Command + R on the Mac. And now just go ahead and scroll down to those options that I mentioned. Now, they all to some degree or other affect the brightness of edge details inside of an image. And let me make that clear what I'm talking about here. I'll go ahead and zoom in and then space bar drag the image over. An edge is a rapid transition between luminance levels. And so for example, this ridge that I'm tracing along with my cursor, that is an edge, between the shadows and the highlights. And so texture is going to affect the…
