- [Narrator] When it comes to filling or stroking objects in Photoshop. Users tend to make heavy use of the foreground and background colors. It allows you to fill objects quickly once you've chosen your colors. Let's go over a few tips for using the foreground and background colors for your projects. Now to prepare this for this video I'm going to go ahead and come over here to the layers panel and I'm just going to create a new blank layer. Then I'm going to go ahead and rename that, artwork. And that will just let me work on that layer without affecting the background. Now your foreground and background colors are located down here at the bottom of your tools panel. And you can see that currently the foreground and background color that I'm using is set to whatever I used previously. Now, one of the ways you can always get back to the default colors is by clicking this icon here or simply by pressing the letter D on your keyboard. And that sets your foreground and background colors…
