Zooming in on a layer - Photoshop Tutorial
From the course: Introducing Photoshop
Zooming in on a layer
- [Instructor] All right now, just for fun, I'm going to show you how to zoom in on the contents of a specific layer, namely the logo layer. So I'll go ahead and click on it to select it here inside the layers panel and then I'll go up to the view menu and choose fit layers on screen. And that's going to go ahead and automatically zoom in on that layer like so. All right, so let me show you one other way to work. I'll press Ctrl + O or Command, there on the Mac in order to fit the image on screen. And then even if this layer is not selected, I'll go ahead and switch to the day layer, for example. I can press the Alt key or the Option key on the Mac and click on that layer and that will go ahead and zoom all the way in. And so, there you have two ways to zoom in on a specific layer here inside Photoshop.
