- I want to show a piece of technology that I've personally worked on. I've served as an image consultant to both Athentech, now known as EyeQ, and Skylum Software and I've been involved in helping their product teams bring AI to life. What I want to show you here is a piece of technology that's truly amazing, even to me, and I've seen it built from the ground up. This is the ability to enhance skies within a photograph. In this example, we're going to talk about how AI can be used to make very complex selections and complicated adjustments, but easy. The role of artificial intelligence is if it's done correctly, it can do the heavy lifting for you. By training the neural network, it's able to detect the sky and other objects in the sky and then create a series of complex masks to isolate those. Masks lead to selections or image segmentation.
