- The invisible and no decay options on the V-Ray light are possibly the easiest to work with and the easiest to demonstrate in this course, given that certainly in the case of the former, we already have a camera set up to both look at and render our key light in the scene with invisible unchecked in the options, roll out then what we clearly see if I render that camera view is the white rectangle of the light object sitting in the render. And of course, if we come to the shot camera view and render that, we also see it show up in the reflective materials of both the vase and flower objects. If I put a check in the invisible option though, and then render the light view again, it now disappears. You will notice if I just render the sharp view again though that the light is still visible in material reflections, which sometimes isn't a problem as this may be exactly what we want.
