The legacy Refine Edge command
- Alright now, as I was mentioning in my life action intro, the Select and Mask workspace is constantly receiving new attention. I don't think there's a single version of Photoshop since the CC program started, that hasn't seen some sort of adjustment to Select and Mask. And so, if you wanna learn the latest and greatest stuff, then definitely check out the newest version of my Photoshop CC New Features course. But, I want you to know that there is another version of this feature that is very similar, but it's more agile. It works inside of a dialogue box as opposed to a galumphing workspace, and it works differently. It produces different results that have pretty well stood the test of time. And so if you don't like the results you get from Select and Mask, then you can try out the older version of the feature which goes by the name Refine Edge and to get to it, you first have to have a selection outline defines as we have here.
