The new Content-Aware Crop

- [Instructor] In this movie we'll take a look at a new feature in the latest version of Photoshop CC, called "Content-Aware Crop", that combines the crop tool along with content-aware fill. So let's say that I want to add some additional room above and below this image. I'll go ahead and zoom out by pressing Control + Minus, or Command + Minus on a Mac, and then I'll select the crop tool, which of course, I can get by pressing the C key. Now notice up here in the options bar, this checkbox called "Content-Aware Crop". Go ahead and turn it on, and then make sure that "Delete Cropped Pixels" is turned off, so that you're cropping non-destructively. All right, now I'm going to drag upward on the top of the crop boundary, and as you can see, we're revealing this checkerboard transparency pattern, which is telling us that we've run out of imagery. All right, next I'll go ahead and drag down on the bottom of the crop boundary, to add a bunch of room below. Now prior to Content-Aware Crop…
