The new Shapes panel: Photoshop 2020 New Features

In addition to the Gradients and Patterns panel, Photoshop 2020 provides one more brand new panel, Shapes. The whole point of this panel is to provide access to predefined vector-based shapes, such as trees, animals, and emojis. Drag-and-drop a shape to place and scale a new vector-based layer. Press Shift to add, press Alt or Option to subtract, or press Shift-Alt or Shift-Option to intersect. Then, assign a fill from the Swatches, Gradients, or Patterns panel.
