- [Instructor] Ensuring that all systems are go is going to be one of the best strategies to create a successful drone mapping mission. when preparing your drone for flight through a checklist review. In front of us, we have the sUAS Preflight Checklist, which is something that we built at our company, and I'll just review a little bit of the highlights of this list. This will also be available in your exercise files. is really designed for safety for the Remote Pilot in Command and the flight crew. One of the things that we make sure we have submitted to our company is the sUAS Flight Plan, so that can look a lot of different ways, but just a note, what you're going to be doing, where you're going to be, how long you're going to be in the sky, how high you're going to go, and all those other things. We also keep with us a flight logbook for each pilot and a Maintenance Record. And this is something that we can do very easily in a spreadsheet. but it can be just anything you want to…
